Samudera Museum or "Boat Museum" located in Jalan Merdeka is between monuments of Malacca that will attract your attention because it looks like an old ship and placed at the mouth of Sungai Melaka.
The museum is built in a replica of Portuguese ship named Flor de La Mar - a warship that was used in the attack on Malacca in 1511.
In it you will see money yore, shells, safes, paintings, replicas of ships and maps that tell about the maritime history of Melaka.
You will also be introduced to the history of Panglima Awang (but is said to have been Christianised and changed the name to Enrique) - the first Malay people around the world.I will show you place,ticket prices,and hours of operation.
